Safe, Inclusive and Enjoyable Cricket for Every Child
Tenambit Morpeth Cricket Club is committed to providing a positive, safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for every child and young person involved with our club.
To support this commitment, TMCC follows Australian Cricket and Cricket NSW safeguarding policies, codes of behaviour and reporting requirements. These standards apply to players, parents and guardians, coaches, volunteers, officials and everyone involved in club activities.
Need Help or Want to Report a Concern?
If you have a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person, please contact the club. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled in accordance with the club’s safeguarding procedures.
How TMCC Helps Keep Young People Safe
Child safety is a shared responsibility. TMCC works to ensure our policies, people and reporting processes support children and young people at every level of the club.
Our Commitment to a Child Safe Environment
- Follow Australian Cricket’s child-safety policies and codes of behaviour.
- Screen and appropriately induct people working with children and young people.
- Provide ongoing education about safeguarding responsibilities.
- Prevent and respond to abuse, bullying, harassment, grooming and other inappropriate conduct.
- Report concerns and support those affected by an incident or complaint.

- Work to ensure cricket experiences are free from abuse, bullying, harassment and grooming.
- Encourage children and young people to speak up about behaviour that feels unsafe or inappropriate.
- Make behaviour standards and reporting information accessible.
